Your LOCAL elections affect your everyday life more than any other. I'm not saying that the state and national elections are not important, they are. What I'm saying is that you need to see who is on the ballot in your local area....judges, state reps, school boards, borough officers, etc.
The condition of your roads, your divorce and custody cases, your school boards, the curfew times for teenagers.....ALL DETERMINED BY LOCAL ELECTIONS.
You send the message by voting to retain a judge or not.
Do your research. Google them. See what their record is.
If you don't like the way they have ruled, vote NO to retain and send them back to practicing law somewhere. Once they are in, there's not alot you can do...for at least ten years.
If you don't intelligently vote, you have forfeited your right to complain.
Get to work. Start googling.
