I believe that whoever gets into the Whitehouse (I believe McCain-Palin) will have no REAL effect on my life. The only thing that will change is talk radio topics.
It will make for more interesting talk radio and blogs.
Nobody would know who Rush Limbaugh is if it werent for Bill Clinton as prez. Clinton put Rush on the map.
Am I better off than I was four years ago? Hell no.
But I don't blame the federal government. Anyone that does is foolish. The elections that affect you are the LOCAL ones.
The judge you elect who rules on your custody or child support. The state rep who votes on open space. The congressman who hosts the local planned parenthood fundraiser. The school board president who doesnt allow your child to pray in school or wear the Jesus Saves T-shirt.
All these things are the hot issues in your life. NOT who is in the Whitehouse. Let's keep it real here.
